Our Second Service is traditional – “classic.” We use traditional music, light liturgy, with emphasis on the preaching of the Word. Usually celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of the month. A vital avenue of service is through our Board of Deacons. They specialize in helping people connect with people within and beyond the church. In the scope of their care: Keeping in touch with the home-bound and those in nursing care facilities, funeral meals, putting exam boxes together for our college students.

PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION Once a month Women meet together on the second Wednesday of the month from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. to focus in on a study that women across the Presbyterian Church are growing in and growing from.  This year the Women’s Association is focusing the Horizon Bible Study Series “Sacred Encounters”

The Presbyterian Church is organized around a board of church elders. When the elders meet, the meeting is known as a SESSION MEETING (from a Scottish term; i.e., “the elders are in session.”) Elders are lay people elected from the congregation by the congregation to assist the pastor in his or her work, forming a ministry team that exercises oversite and coordination of the workings of the church.
